Easy Energy Bite Recipe

Easy Energy Bite Recipe

It’s fall time and all the events are happening. It’s a crisp fall Saturday and you’re out running errands. You hear “mom” from the back seat.. You know what that means. Someone wants a snack. You want to give them something healthy and not the same old pack of fruit snacks. We need snacks that are going to fuel our bodies and leave us with some energy to finish out our days strong. Whether it is a pumpkin patch adventure day, normal errands or a day with cram packed school activities, we have a great way for you to incorporate some of our local raw honey into a perfect little snack. Our honey keeps those seasonal threats down and our kids smile up.

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups Oats

⅔ cup natural peanut butter

3 tbsp of Raw Honey

½ cup of Chocolate chips

Optional ingredients:

  • Chia Seeds

Directions:

  1. Add everything together in a bowl and mix it up.
  2. Roll into round bites.
  3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Let us know of ways you like to include honey into your favorite recipes.
