This is my favorite recipe to keep my kids hydrated. I give this to them when they are not feeling great and also in the summer months when they are running around outside and losing more fluids than normal. It's so simple and I love that it uses natural ingredients. Another added bonus to this recipe is that it's a great way to repurpose my Elderberry Syrup Jars!
Homemade Electrolyte Drink with Elderberry Syrup:

-3 Cups of Water
-1/4 Cup of Lemon Juice
-1/2 Cup of Honey
-1 teaspoon of Himalayan Pink Salt
-1 tablespoon of Elderberry Syrup
Directions: Pour it all in the jar, shake it up, and enjoy!

Hi Rose!
Thank you for the feedback! We always encourage our customers to make it their own as well as what works best for you.
I agree on cutting down the honey. Way too much for diabetics.
Mrs Z, Thanks for sharing what might work best for your family! We want our customers to know they’re empowered to make whatever product they can and still use their Elderberry syrup to keep their families healthy! Enjoy!
I think I would have to cut the honey way down to 1/4 c. 1/2 c. seems like an awful lot of sugar, especially for little kids.
Mel, that is so wonderful to hear! We are totally fine with that as we know it will be a great benefit to them! Enjoy!
